The Firm’s Islamabad based partner, Mr. Saqib Awan possesses over 25 years of experience in the petroleum exploration and production industry. Mr. Awan has excelled in negotiating petroleum rights agreements, managing legal and commercial matters, and representing reputable companies like OMV Group, Polish Oil and Gas, DWM Petroleum AG and Descon Group. His educational background includes an LL.M degree and an LL.B degree from the University of Wales, UK.

Mr. Awan has worked for OMV Group in Pakistan (2001-2011) as Legal Manager and as Head of Contracts with DWM Petroleum AG in Tajikistan (2012-2015).

Earlier, Mr Awan has worked for Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) as a consultant through the law firm, Walker Martineau Saleem (2000), and as an associate lawyer in London, UK, for Malik & Co. Solicitors (1997-2000) and Abraham & Co. Solicitors (1995-1996).
